Diez Barroso is the great-grandson of Emilio Azcárraga Vidaurreta, founder of Mexico's Televisa network. He studied Economics and Finance at Harvard University, I.T.A.M. and Boston Universities, and has an M.A. in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica with an emphasis on Consciousness Health and Healing. Diez Barroso has held senior level positions and sat on the board of most NALA owned companies. He was Managing Director for Corporacion Triangulo, an investment corporation headquartered in Mexico. He was named one of the 10 most powerful Latinos by Poder Magazine,〔http://www.poder360.com/article_detail.php?id_article=1516〕 and by The Hollywood Reporter.〔(THR’s Latino Power 50 - Latin Gossip )〕 He currently sits on the board of directors of Summit Entertainment, a worldwide film studio and distributor; he is on the board of The Angel Station, an agency that optimizes human potential, Saber Es Poder An empowerment network for US Hispanics, and he chairs the board of The World is Just a Book Away, a non-profit organization created to bring books and education to children in developing countries. He is on the board of the X Prize Foundation's Innovation Board, he is a member of the client advisory council for USTrust,Bank of America and serves on the board of The CrossRoads School for Arts and Sciences. He is also the chairman of (NALA Energy ) a wholly owned subsidiary of NALA investing in the energy sector.
